Johnny Schwartz, founder and creative director of YONY, was deeply influenced by his father, Allen, who introduced him to the vibrant culture of New York in the 1950s and 60s. From weekend drives in a pink Ford Thunderbird to the sounds of Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin, Johnny absorbed the stories and style of that era. His passion for tennis and the unique fashion surrounding the sport, combined with memories of family gatherings and competitions, shaped his creative vision.

After years in the clothing industry alongside his father, Johnny set out to launch his own menswear brand, YONY. Drawing inspiration from vintage aesthetics and a love for tennis, he aims to redefine the style of the sport while honoring its history. With a vision distinct from traditional streetwear, Johnny's designs evoke a sense of nostalgia while embracing modern sensibilities.
