SALES TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
We will honor your order within the limits of our available stock. Orders will be processed within 72 hours. In the event that any of the products ordered are not available in our inventory, you will be notified via email of any changes to your order. To the best of our ability, we will inform you of when you can expect your merchandise, as you may opt to keep or cancel your order in the unlikely event it may not be available.
For partially delivered orders, you will only be charged for the items that are available.
Just choose the amount, and the person you give it to can redeem it for whatever they wish in the amount you specified (up to $500). If you’d like to treat them to something really special over $500, please call us at 718-782-2600.
ORDER CANCELLATIONS AND MODIFICATIONS
Please review your purchase, billing and shipping information before submitting your order. PLEASE NOTE that your Brooklyn Denim Co. order may begin processing as soon as it is submitted. We will try our best to accommodate modifications to your order, however, we cannot guarantee these changes will be made after your order is submitted. Cancellations can be requested within 30 minutes of placing your order.

Only orders sent within New York State will be charged the appropriate local sales tax. Brooklyn Denim Co. accepts payments through Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. You must provide all correct billing information including the cardholder name, credit card number, expiration date, security code, and billing address. To avoid delays, please make sure you have completed checkout procedure carefully and completely. The amount of your purchase will be debited from your account on the date of sale. Brooklyn Denim Co. will not be responsible for any delay of goods due to incomplete order forms or unattainable authorizations from credit card companies. Brooklyn Denim Co. does not accept personal checks for payment.
Brooklyn Denim Co. store credit and gift cards are not available for use online. They are intended to be used in our retail location, or by phone at (718) 782-2600.
You may purchase gift cards online.
Brooklyn Denim Co. ships Internationally, but Brooklyn Denim Co. will not cover duties and taxes for the country the shipment will be going to. Goods will be delivered according to their availability. In case of an incomplete order, only the goods delivered will be charged. There are no shipping charges on back orders. You will be charged for shipping on the first delivery. All orders placed on Saturday and Sunday will be processed the following Monday. Orders placed on holidays will be processed the next business day.
We do not deliver to P.O. boxes.
Customers are responsible for entering the correct shipping information. Deliveries will be made according to those order specifications. If you would like a signature required at drop off please state that in the notes section of the order. Please indicate if you would like to release the signature from your delivery. UPS will make repeated delivery attempts before returning your merchandise to Brooklyn Denim Co. If you would like to schedule a delivery intercept, reroute your package, or attempt a redelivery, you will be responsible for the associated charges. Brooklyn Denim Co. cannot change or alter the delivery method once shipped.
Once your credit card is authorized, you will receive a confirmation email from us. In general, orders are processed in 2-3 business days. Once processed you will receive your order within 3-10 business days.
You will be charged UPS shipping fees for domestics orders/USPS shipping fees for international shipments plus tax/handling fees based on type of service. All orders will be shipped UPS GROUND unless otherwise specified.
*All orders over $150 will ship for free with domestic UPS Ground delivery.
*Any order over $150 with expedited shipping will be charged shipping.
*When shipping internationally, USPS will be the carrier and the shipping/duties/and tax fees will be billed to the recipient.
EXCHANGE AND REFUND
Brooklyn Denim Co. will exchange or reimburse goods within 15 days from the shipping date. Please return to: BDC RETURNS, 85 N. 3rd Street Suite #101, Brooklyn, NY 11249. All goods must be returned in perfect condition (Merchandise must not be worn, altered, or washed) with tags attached along with a copy of your original Brooklyn Denim Co. invoice. Please indicate on the back of your invoice form the reason for your return. Credit will be processed within 15 days of reception, but may not appear on your statement for one to two billing cycles. "SALE ITEMS" ARE SOLD AS IS AND ARE FINAL SALE. No returns or exchanges are accepted on sale items. Please note that a package refusal does not suffice as a request for a refund. Brooklyn Denim Co. reserves the right to decline your return if these Sales Conditions are not met. Unauthorized returns will be returned to the customer and not credited. Please contact us if you have any concerns or questions regarding your exchange or return.
Sales tax is charged based on the customers shipping address, only to states where Brooklyn Denim Co. has a physical presence. Currently this includes:
No tax will be applied to all clothing under $110;
8.875% will be applied to all clothing that are $110 or more;
8.875% will be applied to all accessories, home goods, etc.;
Sales tax is not charged on gift card orders, however sales tax may be charged when the gift card is redeemed.
SECTION 1 - WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?
When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address.
When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.
Email marketing (if applicable): With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products and other updates.

How do you get my consent?
When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.
If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.
How do I withdraw my consent?
If after you opt-in, you change your mind, you may withdraw your consent for us to contact you by unsubscribing.

SECTION 4 - SHOPIFY
Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
SECTION 5 - THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.
SECTION 6 - SECURITY
To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.
If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.

_shopify_visit, no data held, Persistent for 30 minutes from the last visit, Used by our website provider’s internal stats tracker to record the number of visits
_shopify_uniq, no data held, expires midnight (relative to the visitor) of the next day, Counts the number of visits to a store by a single customer.
cart, unique token, persistent for 2 weeks, Stores information about the contents of your cart.

storefront_digest, unique token, indefinite If the shop has a password, this is used to determine if the current visitor has access.
If our store is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to sell products to you.
